No. Both Standard and Creator tiers are 100% free. There's no signup fee, no monthly cost, and no minimum balance to keep earning. Standard is automatic — Creator is one click after you've signed up.
Earnings accumulate in your Creator balance, visible in your referrals page. Payouts are processed manually for now — request via the support chat once your balance is meaningful (we recommend $25+). We're working on Stripe Connect for instant payouts.
Lifetime, until the friend makes their first paid purchase. We tag them as your referral the moment they sign up via your link, and the connection persists until they pay. After their first purchase the reward is locked in for you.
Any successfully completed order via Stripe Checkout. Subscriptions, one-time model purchases, custom design orders — all count. Refunded orders don't.
No. We detect and prevent self-referrals on the same email/payment method. Don't try — it just wastes both our time.
The referral cookie is stored when they land on the site with ?ref=YOUR_CODE. As long as they sign up before clearing cookies / switching device, you get credit. We're considering email-based attribution for v2.
You're either one or the other at any given time. Becoming a Creator replaces the +5 download bonus with 20% commission. You can't double-dip — but you can switch back if you change your mind (contact support).
Yes! Standard-tier bonus downloads from referrals are added to your achievement bonus pool. They behave like any other bonus — used before your monthly subscription quota.
No. Bonus downloads earned through achievements, points, or referrals are licensed for personal (non-commercial) use only. If you want to sell prints, do client work, or list on marketplaces, you need an active paid subscription — the commercial license is part of the membership, not the free reward pool. (Cash commissions from the Creator tier are unaffected — they pay out as actual money.)
